Hello, I have concerns, to use trello in a public wifi, since the trello board name and the card names are part of the URL, when accessed.
Thus it would be possible for the admin of the network, to see what topics I am working on...
What do you think about my concerns?
Thanks, Peter
When you use Trello over https, i.e. a little lock appears in your browser bar, a third party can't see which specific URL you access on Trello.
It works like this: your computer makes a request for a secure connection to Trello, i.e. https://trello.com. (This could be seen by a Wifi network admin.)
Once the secure connection is established, your computer requests the specific Trello URL, i.e. https://trello.com/b/123secret/ . The Wifi network admin won't see the part /b/123secret/ , as this is encrypted as part of the https protocol.
Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent or hide the board title in URL's. If you are concerned about that, we'd recommend using only trusted networks or secure your connection appropriately, e.g with a VPN.
