Trello x Slack | Can't setup notification on channel

Hello, 

I know this question has been asked before but the solution didn't help me. 

The problem is that when I try to connect Trello and Slack with the power-up, I can only send notifications in private message. 

 

Is this a rights issue or something else ?

Hi William, 

I just tested this on my own board, and it appears that I'm able to send to all channels, so I'd like to figure out what might be happening at your end. Could you try going to https://trello.com/me/account and revoking the Slack access there? Once you've done that, go back to the Power-up and re-authorise it to see if you can see all of your channels.

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, it still not working. 

Moreover, when I select a user (private message then), I can't confirm the settings.

UPDATE: I managed to make it works with the Butler !

Any help to get Slack and Trello working please... tried all sorts of work arounds.... revokes, uninstalls... butlers, zapiers, automation.io..... no joy ...lol

  1. Hi - Is there a way to send alerts to all channels in Slack vs. having to enable each one?  We would like to use Slack for the sales team to make a request to CS, but we have a separate channel for each client.  

Can I make the alerts settings I want and have it be a universal setting instead of having to do it for each separate channeL?
