Does anyone have any idea why in the calendar section of butler, there is no checklist option? I want certain checklists to be unchecked every day at a certain time, but I don't see this option.
Edit: I should have put my use case to better explain what I am doing, sorry about that!
I have one card that I use every day for my daily habits that I am trying to accomplish. That card is on a board that my wife and I share. My wife and I each have a list to ourselves to put whatever we need. At the top of that list is the card that I use to organize all my trello boards and tasks. Below that card is my habits card that I use to track my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly habits.
I hoped that as I go through each day, at 1 am, those 3 checklists on that card would get unchecked so I can work on my daily habits again the following day with a clean fresh start. Right now, I have a button that I need to press, but it would be amazing to have a timer press that button for me every morning for the daily habits, every week for the weekly habits, and monthly for the monthly habits. That way on one card I can see all my habits, and the game is to check each box before butler resets them.
It's not difficult to do on the daily items, but it's difficult to remember every week, every month, and every year to press a specific button on a specific day consistently.
There is a way to do this with 2 Butler commands that run one after the other.
The first would be to have the card archived as soon as all the checklist items are completed. Which would look something like this:
That would mean that as soon as the morning habits list was completed, Butler would automatically archive the card. If you have more than 1 checklist, this rule would need to be adjusted.
If you have more than 1 checklist, your rule could look like this:
Which would mean, when you've ticked everything off, the card would automatically archive
Then, every morning at say 4am, Butler would need to create a new card with all the checklists in it. This is the example with just the 'Morning Habits' in it:
If you have multiple checklists (morning, afternoon & evening) then it would be just as easy to have a repeating card (using the Card Repeat PowerUp) to create a brand new card every day from the template and all the checklists would be unchecked.
You could create a repeating card by copying a card you already have with all the checklists on it, make sure none of them are ticked and set the card to repeat every morning just before you get up. Then when you check your Trello you'd have a brand new unchecked card waiting for you!
Hope this helps, please let me know if I haven't explained something fully and I can come back and try again!
Esme :)
Or could use Placker to create a repeatable card in daily basis...

Hi Esme!
Thanks for the well thought out response!
It makes sense what you are saying, and I may have to switch to your way. My only problem with this, is that to make my life easier, I use iOS shortcuts for the daily habits card. That shortcut takes me to the days habits. The problem with using a new card every day is that I would no longer be able to instantly jump into the habits, I would need to jump to the board, then choose from the list manually every day.
I suppose the only way is for me to create a shortcut to the list and then select the card, but it would be so great if the checklist items could be added to butler calendar commands, so I could use just the same card every day.

Hi Angel,
I'm just cooking tea at the moment, give me a bit and I'll see what I can come up with on the Butler side. I use shortcuts on iOS as well (aren't they a marvel?!), so I'm sure between the 2 of us we can come up with something!
I'll get back to you after dinner :)

Hi Angel,
Ok, I've had a thought!
Would a simple rule like this work for you:
Which would mean the minute you ticked all of them off, they would untick ready for the next day and the card would stay the same so the iOS shortcut would still work.
Let me know if this is what you're looking for, if not, I'll have another think!

oh man, that's perfect! I can add a final check-called reset, and that would work on mobile as well.
As a temporary fix, this is perfect and gives me an incentive to check each one off! I will switch my other habits to the first way you mentioned because I don't need direct access to those.
Thanks so much for your help! :)

Hi
In this way, it isn't possible.
Instead of discussing of technical solutions(trigger and action), could you express your use case ? Maybe tips would be found.

You're right, I should have put my use case to better explain what I am doing, sorry about that!

Is that possible to make a double triggers to make that automate? For instance, the first trigger by using Calendar, by certain time everyday move certain card to top of the list; then the second trigger by using rules, when a card moved to top of the list, certain checklists would be cleared...
