I am experiencing an issue with a card button that was created through Butler automation in Trello. The button is still visible on my Trello cards, but I am unable to remove it.
Could you please assist me in removing this button or guide me on what might be causing this issue?
Thank you for your help!
Hi Kenan - welcome to the community!
The 'Admin' button is only available on Rules and Calendar automation tabs.
If the button doesn't appear in the Card Buttons tab, it sounds like the card button may have been created by another member.
I would suggest reaching out to the other board members in your team and checking if they created the card button.
I hope that helps!
Hey
why the Admin and the OWNER need to reach out to a regular board member?
What can you do as an Admin / Owner of the board to edit / delete card buttons like this?
I cant reach out to the the member that created those ,because he isnt in our company anymore and we cant contact him for login data.

Hi @Patrick Lorenz - welcome to the community!
I'm afraid it's not currently possible for admins to delete another user's card button. We have an open bug report tracking this here: TRELLO-89: As a workspace admin, I want to see active automation rules/buttons from members who left the board, so that I can manage them
I would suggest going to that bug report linked, logging into your Atlassian account and clicking on 'Start watching this issue'. That way, you'll be notified of any updates.
The workaround for now is to open the Automation library, find the card button and select 'Hide on this board for you only' to remove it from your account. As this is an individual setting, each active user will need to go through these steps to hide the card button on their end too.
I hope that helps!
