What happens when upgrading a free trello to a paid subscription. Will all the current boards and checklists etc be pulled over to the paid subscription without changes? Are all the current team members included in the new sub if a subscription is paid per person that covers those on the boards?
If in the future we wish to decrease our membership back to the free option will we lose information or boards??

When you upgrade, all your current boards, cards, checklists, and other content remain exactly as they are, you won’t lose any data or see any changes to your existing setups.
Paid subscriptions are typically managed on a per-person basis at workspace level. This means that if your team members are already part of your boards, they’ll continue to have access under the paid subscription. However, you’ll need to ensure that the billing covers every member who needs access to the premium features.
If you ever decide to downgrade back to the free option in the future, you will not lose any information. Your boards, cards, and checklists will remain intact. Do keep in mind, though, that certain premium features will no longer be available once you switch back to the free plan and Workspace will be limited to 10 collaborators.
