When choosing a background picture, it becomes less defined and more pixelated/blurred

I started to notice that when I choose a picture background, it is no longer HD and more of pixilated/blurred. I refreshed the page and changed the browser and still facing this problem.

First, please ensure you’re using a supported browser and that it’s updated to the latest version. This often resolves many display issues in Trello.

If the background still appears pixelated, could you let us know which browser and version you’re using when you notice this issue? That information will help us identify any patterns.

Hi Blair,

I use Chrome ordinarily but I am using the Trello desktop app for Mac OS (currently 15.6.1) and it's there that the backgrounds are pixelated. Also, some backgrounds are pixelated while others are fine—and the ones that are fine include both my own images and those provided through Unsplash.

Hi!

Just to clarify, are you talking about the board background getting pixelated or blurred, or is it something like a card cover? I want to make sure we're on the same page.

Also, are you using one of the backgrounds offered through Unsplash, or are you uploading your own custom picture? Trello doesn’t compress images, so it’s a bit odd that you’re experiencing this issue.

I'm having the same problem! The frame's background is pixelated, and yes, I'm using Unsplash's options.

Some images are blurry as soon as I apply them, and others appear to be working fine, but when I reload the page, they're blurry as well.

I am also having the same issue. I use both Unsplash options and my own images. Everything used to look fine just 2 weeks ago. But now all the board background images are pixelated. @Renato Fagaraz would you be able to help?
