I'm using my own board, on which I've created a list. After adding a card, I realized it's in the wrong list. I opened the card, went to Actions, selected "Move". A window popped up with a few drop-down lists: "Board", "List", "Position". I only have the one board, so I skipped that. From the "List" drop-down, I tried to select the target list. When I clicked on the target list, the current list entry changed color, but the text did not change and the drop-down did not go away. The only way it will go away is when I select the original item from the drop down.
Am I missing something? What do I need to do differently?
Hmm, that doesn't seem right! As a first step, can you try clearing your browser's cache and cookies? That will clear out old session data and should get everything back up and running. Instructions for doing that are here: https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic
You can also try disabling any extensions since they sometimes affect Trello's performance.
If that doesn't help, don't hesitate to contact us at trello.com/contact and we'll be glad to take a closer look!
I see what's happening; I don't know why.
I'm using a non-standard :-) browser: Avant Ultimate Browser. I use the browser because it can render a page with Trident (hasn't got up to Edge yet), Gecko, or Blink (and because it has a bunch of other really cool features). When Avant is rendering with anything but Gecko, I can move cards. On the other hand, when Avant is not using Gecko it doesn't render background pictures correctly.
I think I need to go to the Avant developer :-\
Thanks, Marta!
