A company we work with is called "Mata", so I named a card that. When I click off the card, Trello changes it to "eye". I put Mata-1 to see what it would do and it changed it to "spy-1" It is so strange! Anyone have any idea why, or how I can fix it? Thank you!
Not able to replicate this behavior (try a new board + different browse to rule out extensions and PowerUps)
Try logging in on incognito mode and seeing if it happens there as well? It might be an approved browser extension, something your boss had installed for a previous board?.. Logging in from a personal device works as well.
Alternatively it might be Automation related? If you create a test board, whether in your existing workspace or a test workspace, does it still do the replacement? As any Automations (or Power-ups) would be board-specific.
Oh. Did a little chatgpt-ing. Mata translates to eye in a bunch of languages, but in Malay and Indonesian mata-mata can translate to spy. Could it be that your browser believes the page is in Malay or Indonesian and is auto-translating the page to english? I use Chrome and sometimes I'll have the Google Translate icon show up to the right of the url bar. Could be that someone at somepoint hit "always translate this language"?

It seems quite strange. Do you have any browser extensions installed? Try disabling them.

I don't...I'm at work and my boss doesn't let us download any extensions, so I'm not sure what the heck is happening...ha-ha!

Well, I'm not sure what was wrong, but once I logged out for the night and logged back in this morning, it was back to normal! 🤷 Very strange!! Thank you to all who tried to help ♥️
