Repeat cards

I'm confused.  Some of my cards that I've set up as repeat are easily identified with an icon on the card, showing that it is set to repeat.  Other cards of the same task do not show the same icon.

I'm new to trello, so I apologize if this is an elementary question

Could you show us some screenshots of where its working and where it isn't?

If we can see them, we might be able to see where things aren't behaving as they should!
