Hi Guys and Girls
I'm embedding Trello-Cards on our Website by reading the JSON from the Board. Now I have some questions:
1. Am I allowed to display Trello-Card content directly in HTML instead of embedding an iframe-card?
Like, Card title goes in <h1>, Attachement goes in <img> tag, Description goes in <p>. As far as I tested, the function "window.TrelloCards.create" is needed to embed the cards. Without that function it seems like it's not possible to get anything out of the JSON. I could just "display = none;" to the container thats rendering the cards, but unsure sure if this is allowed... Also it's probably not performant.
2. Is reading/embedding a Card faster with the REST-API instead of reading the JSON?
Thanks :)
Depends if you flaunt it and possibly threaten buisness, how public the use or mainstream it is as to if it breaks the spirit of any possible terms. Although check the terms.
Essentially though, your just accessing your data and displaying it, and no different to a competitor service loging in to harvest the board so you can transfer business.
Possibly if you bump it via Zapier (if you work out how) then the Zapier breaks the link, and any infringements are Zapiers issue.
