Greetings,
I will assume that for the free Trello Cloud Plan, there is a 2GB storage limit.
Workspace, accounts, cards, files, and what else consume and are tracked for the storage limit?
How does a free user view the storage amount consumed? One previous post says ask support but it appears for free plans, the support wizard redirects you to the community or documentation. I would like to know how much is left so that plans can be made to migrate out of Trello before reaching the limit.
Are there plans to increase the storage limit to be more in line with Google storage offerings? Yes they are not apples to apples yet, 2GB is too low for being a cloud product. I have been using Trello for a few years and it seemed pretty neat that a free version was offered for small teams and had no storage limit. Now it seems the free version is more of a sales gimmick to get the small team vested and moved into a paid plan, which is disappointing.
Note:
Two different URLs seems to contradict one another regarding storage limits.
The free Trello Atlassian Cloud Plan states there is a 2GB storage limit per this URL:
https://www.atlassian.com/blog/platform/which-atlassian-cloud-plan-is-right-for-you
This URL https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/adding-attachments-to-cards/
states: "There is a 10 MB file upload limit per attachment. However, paid members have a 250 MB file upload limit per attachment. There is no account data storage limit in any Trello plan."
@Markus C. All the information you shared is old. Please refer to the new plans and pricing for details. https://trello.com/pricing As you can see all have unlimited storage but have a limit to the size of each document.
