Syncing / Mirroring / Linking cards across Worksp

Hi, here is what I am trying to accomplish: 

- I am a member of a board in my colleague's workspace. I am able to add/edit/remove cards and lists on this board. 

- I add a card to a list in a board in MY workspace.

- An identical card is created on a list in my colleague's workspace. 

- Future edits to the card in my workspace (including archiving and deleting) are reflected in the card that was added to my colleague's workspace. 

I have figured out how to use Automation to copy the card to his workspace. I am looking for help in the automated refresh to sync edits.

Hi @Joe Teitelman ! Welcome to the community. Unito will be able to achieve this for you. Butler automation can copy the card, but the copy is a completely different card so changes made on one will not affect the other. You can automated some things with butler (i.e. when a card archives, find the linked card and archive it), but it won't be a true sync between the two cards.

Thanks very much. I read about Unito and it seems like a strong tool. But hard for me to justify the cost for this one use case. Feels like a feature Trello could easily support...though I suppose that's true for many of the requests in this forum.

Makes sense! Plans start at $10 p/mo for a basic use-case of syncing 100 cards, but it really depends on how much time you're spending having to duplicate work, etc. if the cost of Unito outweighs that, it doesn't make much sense.

@milynnus this is amazing... does it sync comments as well, I didn't see it in the demo. Thanks!

It handles add and edit of Comments.

It does not handle deleteComment since in Trello once it is deleted there is not record of it in Trello...just like when you delete a card - you cannot recover it.

The workaround is to prefix comments with `**del` and these will be delete by a cron job.

I have just added support for advanced checklist such that you can now synchronised due dates and member assigned to the item.
