Text boxes (Cards, Comments) crash when pasting clipboard contents after slash commands

Overview

When pasting clipboard contents after hitting slash (`/`), it crashes the Text Box, making it impossible to "undo" this mistake and causes you to lose any progress you made before saving your changes.

The only way to get out of this is by hitting "Discard Changes".

This also applies for the emoji command (`:`), so I guess it would happen any time you open a dropdown dialog while typing.

Obviously I don't have a reason for needing to paste my clipboard contents after opening the slash command dropdown, but in my case happens when moving too quickly.
