I need each card to start with the time of day the card was created.  It needs to be on the card, not a hidden field and visible. Is there a shortcut for doing this.  ie in "Word" holding Shift and Alt down and then using the  "T" key puts the currrent computer time on the page at the cursor. Using 24 hour clock would be our standard.

I would recommend you to create Butler rule for this, something like:

When a card is added to the board by anyone, rename the card to "{time24} {cardname}"

This should result in the behavior the card is renamed after it's creation and time is added to the name.
