We have many people assigned to different boards, but have not found a way to prevent them from copying the board and saving it as their own private board. We've played around with it several different ways and noticed it doesn't even tell you in the menu that the board was copied. Is there any way around this? Or is there a way to make this visible if it happens? The reason being - we have shared-employee boards with client info that we would want to stay with us in the event an employee leaves. It seems like at this point they would be able to quickly copy that board and keep it without anyone knowing.
Right now, there is no option to prevent users from copying a board they have access to.
In general, once you give a user access to a board, we would think that you are trusting the user with the board contents. Even disabling the option to copy the board itself might still have the user take the information from the board by other means (e.g. taking a screenshot or copy/pasting the information)
