Trello board closed

An important trello board was closed and I am given the following message when trying to access it: "You’re a member of this board, but only board admins are able to reopen it. Please contact support for assistance."

When logging in with the email that would be the board admin it says "Looks like it's your first time on Trello." 

Is it possible to get the board back when it seems the account that created it has been deactivated?

I am raising a support ticket to assist you further with this issue. Mostly, we are seeing reports that when the admin's account was deleted due to inactivity, it led to the board's closure. I am working on this and will contact you via email to resolve the issue.
