Trello member restriction for free plan

I've read that you can have unlimited workspaces with a limit of 10 boards for a free plan.

What is the number limit for members in a free plan?

- Does it have an unlimited member to be added in each workspace (eg. I have 3 workspaces named Marketing, Sales, & Operations) and can I add them all in each of those workspaces or specific boards? 

- Or does it have a limit per workspace that you can add a certain # of members or is it a cumulative limit? (eg. I have 3 workspaces and the limit is 10 for example, it means that I can only add 10 people divided on those 3 workspaces: 3 in sales, 3 in marketing, 4 in operations).

Any Trello user can create or be a member of many Workspaces! We have a hard-coded limit of 850 Workspaces per member.

In any Workspace (regardless if it's Trello free, Standard, or Premium), you can have up to 4,000 members in the Workspace. That's a very large number and most Workspaces have well under 4,000 users.

Thanks for the response. Based on what you have said, I can have up to 4,000 members in any workspace (this is a total if, for example, one workspace has 10 boards with each board having 40 members).

If for example I have a workspace named Operations and under that operations I have a board named Logistics. If I add 2 members in the board logistics, would they be counted as member of the workspace or just the board? Does each board has a member limit or is it included in the workspace count you mentioned?

if you invite a person to a board and not for a workspace it doesn't count, is single guest. there's a limit of users of 1600, you can get more information in the link below
