Trello to Slack - Linking Private Boards to Private Channels

I have set up a private board for each of my employees with various subjects such as accomplishments, issues, reviews, etc. It helps me keep track of what each person has done over the course of their employment.

My team uses Slack for general departmental communication. I would like to forward messages in private and public Slack channels to their respective Trello boards when they call in sick or communicate issues to me. Is there a way I can link those boards to Slack without sharing them or making them public to my team?

The Slack Power-Up lets you do just this, linking any individual Trello board to a Slack channel, and then piping in board-level notifications to that channel: https://trello.com/power-ups/55a5d917446f51777421000a

Sounds like that would fit the bill for you!
