When will the Updates to the Board List Switcher be available (Beta Mode)?

Beta Mode seems to have rolled out to some people (my colleague in our workspace doesn't have the option to turn it off). 

I know that there is an update coming so that the list of Boards can be on the left as in the original version.  When is that coming???

Hi Chris,

You're absolutely right—Atlassian has been gradually rolling out the new Board List Switcher in Beta Mode, and it’s currently being A/B tested across selected users and workspaces. This means some users may see the new layout without the option to turn it off, while others still retain control.

As for the update that brings back the Board list to the left-hand side (similar to the classic version)—Atlassian has acknowledged user feedback and is working on refinements. However, there hasn't been an official public ETA shared yet for when that specific layout adjustment will be fully rolled out.

What you can do:

Keep an eye on the Trello Change Log or Atlassian Community Announcements for the latest updates.

If this feature is critical for your workflow, I’d recommend submitting feedback directly via Trello by clicking the Help button > Give Feedback. It really helps the product team prioritize improvements.

Thank you!  If there is an interim work-around that you can recommend, I'm game to try it with my colleague - she is frustrated and I don't want her to get too frustrated until there is a update. :-)
