Why are empty descriptions on cards hidden by default? Can this be changed?

I am constantly clicking into cards that have been triaged to add descriptions and I now have to do an extra click to open descriptions. Can there be an option to auto-expand the description by default?

As a workaround, I can use the "e" shortcut but this is a continual annoyance. Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you using a Power-Up that is changing the interface of your Trello cards (it looks like you have some sort of Power-Up that adds parent/sub-task relationships)?

The screenshot you have shared does not look like the standard interface for cards, and my cards open exactly as you desire them to.

If the issue is related to the Power-Up, then it's likely something you or the Power-Up developer would have to address.
