Why are my custom fields not transferring between boards?

I have a board that has a template card in the list.  In that card are multiple custom fields that are filled out prior to moving the card to a different board within my workspace.  When I open the card on a different board, the custom fields are no longer there.  Can anyone help?

This is a common issue, custom fields don’t automatically transfer when you move a card to another board unless those same custom fields are already set up on the destination board. Try recreating the same custom fields on the target board first (same names and types), then move the card again. That should preserve the data.

Could you please check if your target board is in a Premium workspace, because custom fields are not available in Free workspaces.

Yes the workspace is premium. I pay per member and only have one workspace. Within that workspace, each member has their own board. We have a primary board and I’m trying to send the cards from the primary to the individual members board. The card is moving and bringing the templated information, just not the custom fields.
