slow page loading problem.

For a few days now, I've been experiencing a slow page loading problem.

I use Trello mostly for work, and some of its pages are very heavy, so it's freezing.

I also tried downloading the desktop version, but it didn't make much of a difference.

So my question is: is it possible to make Trello more lightweight?

Or do I need a hardware upgrade to use it?

Could you please check that in Chrome or your browser the following setting is turned on: "Use graphics acceleration when available".  That setting is usually on by default but if you've turned it off for some reason that could negatively impact performance. 

Additionally, are you using a virtual machine (VM) / virtualization technology by chance?  When using a VM hardware acceleration for animations is not available and can negatively impact performance.

Hi, I experience the same issue, I've got a very powerfull Dell Workstation, everything works very quick but the new Trello. It was really fast before update and after the update it's almost impossible to use. Every card loads very slowly while you open it, it really irritates, please do something with it. This is your Desktop performance:

As an SEO specialist I analyze lots of websites and loading speed is one of the most important metrics to Google. With low speed you can lose lots of users. As you see your speed metrics are very very bad, though before the update Trello was really light weight and pleasant to use service.

Please check what slows down your service and fix it.

I have graphics acceleration off because it was causing problems with videos - but I've just temporarily switched it on and that mainly fixes the speed issues.

A good workaround, but of course (and I'm talking to Trello here) I didn't need that performance boost before.

It's slow with acceleration, much slower than it is used to be, without acceleration it's a totally useless app. So, I'm sure that thousands people are experience this issue and you need to do something with it. Even more complicated Jira projects are much faster than Trello now.
