When I add a richtext code fence in a description like this:
Sample `code_fenced_words` in here
and I press save, and I see that the underscores have extra backslashes before them
effectively: Sample `code\_fenced\_words` in here
and if I just edit and save then the backslashes will duplicate etc.
Hi Tim! Hope you are doing great!
Yes, we were able to reproduce this issue and there's already a bug request opened to our dev team for further investigation. While I don't have an ETA on when a fix for the issue will be pushed, as soon as one is available, we will deploy it.
Meanwhile, there's a workaround you can try. For this new WYSIWYG editor, there's an option to click on "plus" + button in the editor panel and select Code.
Then you can write/paste your code in there and it won't add backslashes on it.
Hope that helps you! :)
