I am just thinking out loud, may be it will helpful for you. 
Today, you see "User X deleted a policy", but you don't know where or why. 
As a improvement, you can add details like : what changed before vs after, and what project/space it was in and what device was used.

Also, show events in sessions like (User Login -> done X actions -> logout) so that it is easier to trace suspicious behaviour. If possible, a visual timelines to spot unusual activity spike will help a lot in future investigations.

Another thing, now you can filter by user, date, activity, IP. You can try smarter filters like by project, or type of action, country, failed login attempts or deletion activity, etc.

Hi Elana,

Confluence auditing is lacking in quite a few areas. For instance, I was unable to determine who deleted a page from a space. The auditing should be at least on par with Jira's auditing capabilities.
