We’ve completed our IRAP PROTECTED Assessment for Atlassian Cloud!

Hi all,

I’m the Head of Global Public Policy here at Atlassian and I’m excited to share that we’ve completed an Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) Assessment at the PROTECTED classification level for Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management Cloud. This means that Australian Government agencies, the organisations that support them, and others that leverage the Australian Government’s Information Security Manual (ISM) can confidently adopt our cloud products, while ensuring their security requirements are met.

As a company that was born in Australia, we’re thrilled that this allows even more of our Australian customers to take advantage of our cloud products and unleash the potential of their teams.

This update, combined with other recent developments in cloud compliance, reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting our customers' regulatory and industry-specific security requirements across all industries and regions. In addition to completing the IRAP PROTECTED Assessment, we also recently achieved FedRAMP Moderate authorization for U.S. government agencies, and we anticipate completing our C5 Type 1 audit for EU-based organisations soon.
