Team Sticky Notes vs. Team Digital?

I’m a huge fan of sticky notes! 🧡

Maybe it’s a bit strange that working in IT, I don’t rely on digital tools for my daily reminders, to-do lists, and all that… instead, I’m old-school and write everything down on sticky notes 🫣

Believe me, I’ve tried almost everything - calendars, Trello, private Jira, phone reminders, etc., but NOPE.
Unless I have it on a sticky note right next to my laptop, I’ll forget it or ignore it 😅

And the satisfaction of crumpling up a note after checking something off… 💪

I’m curious, am I the only one? Or do you also stick to paper notes, or maybe you’re team digital? 😄

P.S If you’re like me and haven’t yet discovered electrostatic sticky notes, I highly recommend this little miracle of an invention 🔝

I do a mix of both: sticky notes for the immediate, must-not-forget things, and digital tools for everything else. There’s just something so satisfying about crumpling up a note after checking it off! 💛

I'm the same way.  I donated to a startup that makes reusable sticky notes.  Rocketbook is the company.  They are erasable with a special Pilot ink pen.  They also have a QR code on each so you can link them to a web page if you want to.  I still reach for dependable 3M Post-It Notes.

I'm the same., I still like a physical note that I can see w/o having to log into my computer, let alone an app.

I am still using the 3M sticky notes for all important tasks. While If I am in a hurry, I use the color note app in my phone to make notes of important tasks!

Same here. It looks like I still can't get rid of my sticky notes, either.

When I review our Jira Software (JSW), I look for all the items that are due today and write them on sticky notes. This is how I ensure I actually get them done within the day.

Though I'm trying to actively use tools for managing tasks, sometimes it's much easier for me to write something down... especially if it's some urgent task :)
