Does anyone know the number of user votes needed to move a 'Suggestion' ticket on https://jira.atlassian.com/ from one status (like Gathering Interest) to the next status (Reviewing)?
I was able to click on the 'View Workflow' button below the Status field in a Jira 'Suggestion' issue type ticket to see the list of statuses:

I wonder if creating new groups on Atlassian Community for different Atlassian products can help people find useful Suggestion tickets and vote for them so that they can be reviewed sooner by Atlassian and then hopefully implemented.
I'm not sure if this is the appropriate group to ask this question. I hope someone from the Atlassian Team can answer this or point me to the right group. Please let me know. Thank you!
It's not a simple number of votes.
Atlassian have their own roadmaps, resourcing constraints, future plans and several other routes that they gather requirements and suggestions from.
You'll often see things with a few or even no votes move into "in progress" while others with thousands of votes do not move for years. And vice versa.
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- Thank you for your explanation! That makes sense.
Yes, I've noticed that odd pattern and wondered if requesting my colleagues to vote for Atlassian Suggestion tickets in a Slack channel will make a difference. We will continue to vote and hope that it helps the community someday.

Votes are counted - they're more likely to run with something that's got 500 votes than one with 5, but there are a lot more things they look at when selecting things for development.

@Gautham Hari - I love the spirit of this question, and I have no idea where this question is truly appropriate.
Maybe under the "Off-topic" Interest? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Off-topic/ct-p/off-topic
