Throwback Thursday: Favorite songs from your teenage years that you still rock out to? #TBT

It's Thursday!

giphy

Okay, okay, okay! I know! I know! This one is not fair at all. But please, do notice that I did put songs, as in plural  😀

Soooooo many to choose from... What helps me is that I was a teenager in the 80's (born 1970) and there are some awesome flashback 80's stations on the internet. So at work, I often listen to those.

Here are some of my favs that I've been rockin' to lately, while doing awesome Atlassian work at the same time, of course! 🤘🏽

Run to the hills - Iron Maiden
Summer of 69 - Brian Adams
Hurts so good - John Cougar Mellencamp
True - Spandau Ballet
More than a feeling - Boston
Hysteria - Def Leppard
You shook my all night long - AD/DC

What about you - what are some of the songs from your teenage years that you still rock out to?

Let’s make it a great Thursday, folks!

I recently put together a mix called "Phx" since I spent my teens in Phoenix, here are a few on that mix, all of which bring back a bunch of specific memories:

The Cure - Just Like Heaven

Allman Brothers - Blue Sky

INXS - Need you tonight

Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet

The Smiths - Frankly, Mr. Shankly

David Bowie - Changes

Ok I need to answer this two ways:

First, I did (and still do listen to classic rock) things that came out before I was born.

AC/DC - Thunderstruck has been and still is one of my favourites in that category.

However, as for songs that came out during my teens that I still rock out to:

Anything from Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory Album.
