The longest trip I have ever made by car was from Madrid to Rome. I did it in two days with a stop in Turin, because it was impossible to do it in just one day.
In between we made small stops every three hours to regain our strength, rest and take in the views where we stopped.
It was a long trip but very enriching and left us with very good moments.
