Throwback Thursday: most famous person you’ve met? Part II #TBT

It's Thursday!

Two years ago, I did this post but back then I couldn't find the pictures that I knew were taken. Well, I just found the pictures! So now I am going to redo the post :)

In 1983, Vigdís Finnbogadóttir was the president of Iceland. She was the world's first woman who was democratically elected as president. I was 13 years old. During the last couple of weeks of school, they didn´t really teach us any new material. It was more like doing projects, going to museums and such. I signed up for this international dance group. We were dressed in their respective old clothes type of thing, come to think of it I don't have a clue where the clothes came from...

Well, just a few weeks after that is over and school is out, my home town is celebrating its 75th anniversary and president Vigdís comes to town. Anywho, I was asked to dress up again and bring her flowers as she came to town on her official visit.

I went to high school with Bill Mondy, who later acted on Broadway, a few television shows, and does voiceover work. Not a household name, but he sat next to me in chemistry class.

I do have a photo that we framed of my niece with Peirce Brosnan from about 22 years ago. He was kind enough to pose with a teenaged girl who ran into him at a shopping area on the island of Kauai.

Shared an elevator in Vegas once with Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins)...that was cool.  But my favorite celebrity run-in was James Hetfield (Metallica).  I was having lunch at a Fresh Choice and we were both gettin food in the same spot.  I was so star-struck I couldn't even squeak out a "hello".  LOL.  I was a huge Metallica fan back then.
