It's Wednesday... and that means it is time for another edition of WIP Wednesday from yours truly!
I have really appreciated all the encouragement I have gotten from the Atlassian Community on my previous posts. It has helped fuel my creative juices and I am excited for Wednesday to come around every week! :) Thank you all again!
I have continued to use my trello board to track my progress. The only configuration update I have made to the board since last week is adding a card limit to my "Doing" column. I should only be cross-stitching one badge at a time, so I put a limit of "2" on that column. I don't know if it is possible to turn my "Doing" header card into something else so it does not count as a card... That will be something to investigate this week.
This week I will be sharing two badges: the "Ocean Devotion" Kudos Badge and the "Problem Solver" Kudos Badge! The Ocean Devotion badge has been done for a couple of weeks now but I forgot to share it ( @Monique vdB - this ones for you! :) )
I love the way this one turned out! I wasn't sure how the starfish's face would turn out but I was pleasantly surprised by the end result!
I am currently working on the "Problem Solver" kudos badge... It is a pretty simple design so I should have had this done a couple of days ago BUT I had to completely scrap my first attempt at making it. When I finished the first one, I realized that the circle that outlined the image was pretty wonky... It was more of a oval than a circle. Because I couldn't "un-see" the oval, I had to redo the cross-stitch pattern. It took me an embarrassing long time to figure out how to get a "perfect" circle shape. The good news is that I now know how to make a pretty decent circle for the rest of my patterns going forward. :P
That is all I have for this week! See yall next Wednesday! :)
