Welcome Wednesday: What's your animal companion?

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

On the weekend, I took my son to see the new movie “The Wild Robot“. It was a really cute movie and we both really enjoyed watching it. This gave me a great idea for the question this week. If you were in the wilderness (and we will assume for this question that these are all “Disney“ wild animals that won’t attack or eat you) what animal would you want to befriend as your companion?

Personally, I feel like a wolf is my spirit animal and I would love to “run with the pack“.

I had a Bear following me around the zoo...everyone was clapping and laughing !  To test it I went to the other side and he followed me then came closer. Therefore I will assume mine would be a bear

I'm looking forward to seeing The Wild Robot—I hope to catch it this weekend! We all really enjoyed the book (and the other two books in the series), if you haven't read them. 

As for my companion pet, I think I'd opt for an owl. I've always loved them!

I think I’d pick a bear—preferably a big, fluffy one. We’d spend most of our time lounging around, fishing in streams, and, of course, taking long naps. Plus, if anything goes wrong, my bear could just give a gentle “grrr” and solve all my problems.

But aside from flexing with my lion relationship, I would prefer an animal with a more versatile skillset, like a lynx or fox, who has to be more creative because of their size and habitat.
