New to Jira

Just joined the Jira Admin team.  Have a lot to learn.

I need to do some scripting but am having trouble finding info.

Hope to get some answers soon.

Is there a specific area to ask questions about scripting?

hey @CJ_Marchand welcome to the community!

A really specific place about scripting we don't have. 

Normally you choose what product you have and by adding the correct tags on your question it can get labeled/added to the correct product group/collection.

There is a product collection specific for Adaptavist (who created Scriptrunner) so that is also a possibility.

What is a collection? Is it like a forum?

Can you provide a link to where I should ask questions about scriptfields?

Hey @CJ_Marchand 

Yes, the community is pretty much like a forum but divided in to collections/groups about specific subjects or products.

Scripting could be related to Adaptavist so you can go here: 

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Adaptavist/ct-p/adaptavist

Also if you click "ask the community" in the top bar it'll guide you to where you can post your question. If it's wrong someone will move it :)
