The questions asked in answers.atlassian.com usually is answered very quickly. And according to the guide, you should raise further claifying questions as a comments to a reply and not as a reply to yourself. However while I tend to experience that the response times for asking questions is very fast, I feel that answers to comments are replied to very slow, if any at all. Why is that? Lost interest in the question? Or isn't people made aware of the new comment? How should I relate to this?
Hi Svein,
I can speak only for myself. I usually try to reply on comments to questions where I have posted an answer or comment or which I'm following. Since I get notified on those comments I can do this if I got a spare minute. So there might be an delay from my side.
It is completely different for question where I haven't been involved. If there are already a couple of answers and comments to a question it is
a) usually difficult to see which comment was made last
b) it sometimes simply takes to much time to read all that was posted before.
This is my explanation.
Cheers,
Udo
It's pretty much what I see too, I won't repeat what Udo says.
