Epic progress as value to be used

Can I somehow get epic progress value [%] and use it in different places, e.g. fill custom field with it and later on show on kanban cards next to each epic?

This value is automatically calculate by Jira but I have not found it being accessible from other places across application.

Unfortunately, I am not coming with an answer, but with exactly the same question.

I would like to be able to present in Dashboard Gadget "Filter Results", both counter tracker "Issues in this Epic" (e.g. "In Progress: 2 of 2 issues" or "To Do: 7 of 9 issues") and percentage tracker "% Done".

There is no Column that I can select that would present this information.

I am hoping that somebody will come with an answer. Thanks!
