My advice: Read and understand the "Agile manifesto". Decode the values and principles by relating to a project problem statement.

One idea is: consider accepting that "there are no best practices; only better ones."

I find this simple idea helps clarify uncertainty is a normal part of delivery, experiments facilitate learning and improving, open-mindedness of others' views leads to better understanding/collaboration/opportunities, and realizing there is no one-size-fits-all methodology/framework/tool/etc. to solve all challenges.

My advice would be to focus on the first agile principle, "Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software." and try to understand why early and continuous delivery of value is so important, and how to start doing that.

An understanding of the Agile manifesto is critical to building an Agile Mindset, continuous practice, will build the culture. I'd also borrow from my experience to say, it's more important to be Agile than to be stuck in any framework (Lean, Scrum etc.). Being agile requires flexibility and adaptability.

1. Allow yourself and your team to fail forward and continue to learn + improve.
2. Understand the Agile Manifesto, Values and Principles.
3. Understand that Agile is not Scrum and Scrum is not Agile.
4. Using tools do not make you Agile.

My advice would be first to get acquainted with agile manifesto- values and principles. Try to think and implement them in your current work. Do your research and bring innovative solutions, communicate them well with your team members and take feedback. Respecting your team members is crucial. Agile mindset will certainly develop with some practice.

I would advice my new team member to be an active participant so as to be able to catch up on the latest developments as well as participate in all scrum events and also use Jira on a daily basis to develop a good habit.

I would advice my new team member to take each day as a fresh start,  everyday you could do different wonderful things.  Never judge any thought yourself,  be open and feel free to communicate.  There are no bad questions.  Move ahead as a team,  feel an important part of the team.

• First advice: people in the first place - communicate, listen and respect, remember about roles.
• Second advice: your work needs to be better every day - create, develop, then improve, innovate and for sake - update!
• Third advice: keep up with your team and remember who's your real boss - customer, give 'em some value.
• Fourth advice: read the manifesto and be ready for change. Be happy like prepper when they first need to use their backpacks full of prepared items!

Team members are most resistant to the daily standups but once they see how efficient and effective they are, they change their minds.  It is wonderful to identify and eliminate roadblocks quickly!

My Advice to New team member  : Make him well versed with Agile Concept and benefit over traditional approach.

Make him familiar with agile framework, tools so that he/she can feel the ease of working on the agile concept.

Need to make the stand up meeting in-formal and joyful to avoid resistance from team members.
