Planning for an Octoberfest pub crawl and don’t know which pubs to go to? Especially here in Brighton, there are sooo many great pubs to visit!

So I and my co-founder Biro decided to do our Octoberfest planning a bit differently. And how else then by eating our own dog food 🐕 (or drinking our own homemade beer to keep it in the Octoberfest spirit? 🤓 )

We used 🦊 Foxly - Backlog Prioritization app for Jira Cloud and created our own “October pub crawl” prioritization template to help us decide what pubs to visit!

Just to give you an idea here is how the template looks like:

Scoring formula = German Authenticity * Distance * Atmosphere + Live music

Metrics/Factors:

Factor 1: German Authenticity

• Made in Deutschland
• Plays german folk
• Serves german beer
• Can't get more British 🇬🇧

Factor 2: Distance

• One hop away
• Leg stretcher
• Call an Uber

Factor 3: Atmosphere - 5-star rating

Factor 4: Live music 

• Yes
• No

@Nikki Zavadska _Appfire_ but in Germany … the smallest one of these ‚Stiefel‘ (Boots) would start somewhere around two pints .. with the average probably somewhere in the 4-5 pint range …
