I have both the BigPicture and Cost Tracker for Jira apps. I've set up Cost Tracker so that each member of my team has an hourly rate. Every time they log hours on the work log on a ticket they are assigned to it calculates the cost according to their hourly rates.
On BigPicture I can set the budget for my project, I would like to have another column beside it that is live updated with the actual cost of the project according to the work hours X hourly rates logged per ticket for that project board.
There is a tutorial on YouTube by GeniusGecko that shows exactly what I want to happen, but they said that they had to make a custom script on Jira Misc Workflow Extension and are not sharing in detail how to do it.

So, I know it can be done, just don't know how.
