Dear AppFire,
Dear Community,
After updating our Confluence to 9.2.0 we noticed that Atlassian removed gadgets.
Now, all our pages using - for example, but not restricted to - AppFire's Rich Filter for Jira gadgets cannot render the content:
Atlassian hasn't released the app yet:
Any thoughts on how to solve this?
Is there a "Rich Filter for Confluence" planned to solve this hack job of an integration going through Gadgets?
Cheers,
Janek
Hey @Janek Schumann , sorry for the late reply!
I totally get how frustrating it is to lose the native External Gadgets and not be able to continue your usual workflow.
The good news is that we’re about to release a Rich Filters extension for Confluence DC to replace External Gadgets, making it easier and more reliable to embed Rich Filters gadgets in Confluence. It’s launching on Mid-April, and we might even have a Beta available earlier. Announcements will be sent soon.
If you ever have questions or need help with anything Rich Filters related, I’d also recommend opening a support ticket—we can usually help much faster there.
Let me know if you have any questions!
@Ivan Garcia _Appfire_ - Will there be an additional charge for that extension/add-on for Confluence?

I talked to some of our power users today.
I'll use that to convince people to move to Jira Dashboards instead of recreating Jira Dashboard functionality in Confluence using Gadgets. Maybe a good thing: use the right tool for the job, not the one which makes it somehow possible-ish. 😅
