Jira Structure Gantt - Pre-Closed status not considered by dependent task

Hi All,

We are trying to use Jira Structure Gantt schedule view and observed, if a dependent task is pre-closed than estimated, then consecutive task is not getting re-scheduled (left shift the start date, since previous dependent task is closed)

Example: we have 2 user stories, and project start date : 10-Aug-2024

Story point is considered for schedule timeline (1 story point = 1 day)

User Story-001  = 5 Story point  , so schedule will be 10-Aug-2024 to 14-Aug-2024

User Story-002 = 3 Story point and dependent on user story001 closure, so schedule will be from 15-Aug-2024 to 17-Aug-2024

In case, if user story 001 is moved to closed state on 12-Aug-2024, can we expect User Story-002 to get auto rescheduled with start date of 13-Aug-2024 [Finish to Start relation]

But, we noticed, the schedule still remains with start date of 15-Aug-2024 for Story-002
