Hi there,
Anyone had any luck migrating Tempo worklogs from a Cloud site to another Cloud site using ScriptRunner Connect?
I am using the template Migrate Tempo Timesheets Cloud worklogs from one instance to another. I have it configured ok and I have managed to migrate the logs from one single issue by using JQL issue = KEY-123 but every time I try to put a bigger query in there it messes up.
I am not even sure how to decide the query to use as you can't really search JQL for Tempo time logs only within the Tempo Reporting tool.
I know there may be Pemrission issues, but surely this can be configured so that I can log on behalf of others? As this is a test site at the moment I don't want to have to give everyone Product Access just so they have the right Perms to log time when I'm using the tool to do it.
Would be really interested if anyone else has had success with this. It feels it should be simple, I just want all time logs from one site to be applied to same tickets on the other.
Thanks,
Dani
Hi @Dani Miles ,
Thank you for raising your question! I am a Senior Customer Success Manager with ScriptRunner and have helped a number of people use this template.
Could you clarify what happens when you use a bigger query? How does it mess up?
To answer your question, the JQL query is to get the issues for which you want to move the time logs. For example, if you enter the query "Project = WEB" then it would grab all issues in the project WEB, and for each issue migrate the time logs attached to that issue.
With the template you have the "DEFAULT_AUTHOR_ACCOUNT_ID" parameter:
This allows you to define the account that will log timesheets if the original user cannot.
Kind regards,
Bobby
