Hello everyone,
I am trying to install the Clockwork app on our Jira site, but every time I try, I get the following message:
We ran into a little trouble. It might just be a hiccup. Try again in a bit.
I suspect this could be related to an outstanding payment, but the platform does not show me any invoice or bill to pay.
Has anyone experienced this before or knows how I can proceed?
Thanks in advance!
Hello @Francisco Sepúlveda
The error is most likely caused by Atlassian attempting to collect payment for the App as you install it, but this fails.
If you have set up a billing method in Jira settings > Billing, you should check that the card details here are correct and that the card is fully funded with the amount payable. To check the amount payable, please see the pricing Tab here.
However, if you pay for your Jira instance through a quote or bank transfer, please contact your Atlassian partner or Atlassian directly to proceed with this payment.
Please reach out to our support team here should you have further concerns with the App.
Very often this kind of installation problem happens when there’s a payment error or billing issue in the background. It’s not a common Jira behavior, so the best way forward would be to reach out directly to Clockwork support or Jira support to check if there’s an outstanding invoice blocking the installation.
As a temporary workaround, if you urgently need a time tracker or reporting tool, you could try JetTime. It installs smoothly from the Marketplace and gives you essential features right away, like time tracking with timers/manual entries and exporting reports to PDF/Excel.
