Hi everyone,I'm currently using BigGantt for one of my projects, and I’m working with Stories, Subtasks, and Linked Issues.

When defining the hierarchy, I successfully managed to display Subtasks and Linked Issues under their respective Stories.

However, I’ve encountered an issue: whenever I enter a date for a Subtask, it automatically updates the start date of the parent Story.

I would like to prevent this behavior from happening.Could anyone advise on how to configure the hierarchy so that the parent Story’s start date remains unaffected by changes to its Subtasks' dates?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @Paul Sarfati,

Seems like the scheduling mode in your BG project is set to auto-bottom. In this mode, children determine the dates of their parent tasks. Try setting the scheduling mode to manual.

Here's a link to the app documentation about scheduling modes.
