I have epics with a set "start date" and "Due Date", below these epics I have Stories which are assigned to a sprint. The start and Due date are independent of the sprint. The managed structure is configured that the stories are grouped by Epics. My issue is that I can't see the in the Gantt chart the start and due date of the epics. This stays empty.
Would be great if anybody can help me how to be able to see the start date and due date of the Epics in the Gantt. Thank you!
Hello @Manuel Signer
The Epics don't appear on the chart because they are added to the structure by the Group by Epic transformation. Transformations have no effect on the chart (you can see the 'i' button in the top-left corner of the chart stating it).
For the Epics to appear on the chart, they need to be added to the structure by a generator instead.
Also, since Epics are parent issues, make sure that you have the 'Treat parent issues as groups' option unselected in he chart's configuration, otherwise Epics will be displayed as brackets, and their individual data - including their due dates - will be ignored.
I hope this helps. If you need further assistance here, or if you have more questions about Structure, please reach out to us directly at our support portal.
