Resolution is not required when creating a Defect from Zephyr Scale in jira project

I need resolution is not required when creating a Defect issue type from Zephyr Scale in Jira specific project.
How can we achieve this, if it is possible please provide further steps.

This can be achieved in Jira by your Jira admin changing the workflow/automation (however they set it up) for the Resolution field for the Issue Type (Defect).  It's not a Zephyr Scale setting.

Hi @Pavankumar 

To disable the resolution requirement for the Defect issue type in your Jira project, start by navigating to Jira Settings.

From there, select the project where you want to make this change and click on Project Settings.

Next, locate the Issue Types section and click on it. Find the Defect issue type and click Edit beside it.

Then, navigate to the Workflow section and click Edit Workflow. Identify the transition that creates the Defect issue type and click Edit.

In the transition screen, locate the Resolution Field and uncheck the Resolution Required checkbox. Finally, save your changes and publish the workflow
