problem with creating xray testcases

i have a member in jira that cant seem to add tests to the test case in xray. she gets the error "unexpected error has occured. error occured while searching for issues"

she has all the right permissions.

That may be a temporary issue; you should reach out Xray support.

Some things you can try to check your end:

  • does that error only occur for that user?
  • does it occur only on a specific project?
  • has anyone added required fields on Test issues?
  • can you ask your Jira/instance admin to perform an health check and see if everything is green?
  • in your Jira project settings,  can you check 2 things?
    • a) does everything looks good on the project Summary tab?
    • b) can your project admin perform a re-index, in the Re-indexing tab in your project settings?
