Scriptrunner for Jira Cloud, how to prevent adding entries to the notification section?

In my ScriptRunner listeners, I disable sending email notifications. However, entries are still being made in the Notification list and it's annoying users. Is there any way to disable this function?

The notification section I'm referring to is alarm bell icon next to then search bar in the Jira toolbar. The notifications are of the form:

Hi @Rich Scire can you share the screenshot with the "bell"? I can't find this button...

What action causes the notification / what your listener do? If it adds comment for example, it can be caused by notification scheme configuration.

HI, you shoud see "picture" icon/button in the top bar :)
