Using Custom Charts by Tempo

I'm trying to create a chart or a table to show the following;

1. When an Issue is created vs when the issue is done and how many days it took.  I'm trying to figure out a way to show it, and do the calculation.  Would I have to show this for each Task created?

Hi @Charles Brooks,

I would recommend asking this question to Tempo support team directly.

The time from the creation of the problem to its resolution is also called "lead time". Basically, for this you will need a gadget/report that is capable to calculate lead time, cycle time, or time between workflow statuses.

Jira's Control Chart report could be used for this. It can show the issues by their cycle time and clicking an issue in the report will show the Cycle time in a tooltip.

Unfortunately this Jira report does not offer a list of issues. If you need something better you could search on Atlassian Marketplace for an app that provides a more capable gadget or report for measuring cycle time or lead time.

If you want to try an app, our Great Gadgets app offers some gadgets that can measure this.

For example, the Control Chart gadget can display the issues by their cycle time or lead time.

In addition, the chart offers a Data tab with a report showing the values for each issue, which can be easily exported in CSV.

For the same purpose you can also use Cycle Time Trend gadgetHistogram Chart gadget or Time in Status gadget offered by the same app.

Hope this helps.
