Problem: We need to be able to display Tempo "Description" content in a dashboard or Tempo Gadget for Leadership.

Some context: When a user logs time against a task, they enter the “what” they have worked on during this period of time logged in Description field.

• I have tried to expose those comments in Tempo reports, but that field doesn't seem to be available.

• The field doesn't appear in the general comments section of the ticket either.

• I also reviewed the available gadgets for dashboard and don't see a solution there as well.

There must be a way to report against this description field in Tempo or it probably wouldn't be there in the first place, but I haven't figured this out.

Hello @steve.josue ,

You should be able to view worklog's description in Tempo Logged Time report when you group by worklog in Overview.

 

Currently, with Tempo Gadget, it's possible to show worklogs and plans of an individual user by day.

 

Or you can add worklog description into Jira issue comment with this KB.
