What to display a count of items from a JQuery ?

Need to display the count of items from a JQuery, Any option to do the same in JIRA.

Any free plugin available.

I am not sure what you mean, but by searching issues in jira (go to Filters >  view all issues, then perform your jql search) you should be able to see the number of results at the bottom of the list
